Sónia Gomes graduated in Biology by the University of Aveiro in 2011, following a Master degree in Biochemistry by the University of Porto in 2013. Of her scientific activity resulted 7 oral communications and 7 communications in panel authored / co-authored since 2010.
Sónia Gomes is currently a PhD Student at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), University of Minho. Her work project aims at disclosing the influence of neuron-astrocyte interactions in the progression of stress-induced pathologies in a mouse model of astrocytic dysfunction.
