Nuno Dias graduated from University of Minho in Industrial Electronics on 2004 and finished his PhD in the same University, in collaboration with Pennsylvania State University, PA, USA,  on 2009. During the PhD, Nuno Dias primarily developed his work on EEG signal processing, manufacturing of biopotential electrodes and embedded systems for wireless communications. Nuno Dias is the principal investigator of an FCT project (PTDC/SAU-ENB/118383/2010, €140k) on cognitive rehabilitation based on the acquisition of biopotentials and neurofeedback. Nuno Dias is also the coordinator of the module myBrain included in the project do-IT myHealth funded by QREN-ADI which resulted in a wireless electroencephalogram cap for monitoring of epileptic patients and alertness of vehicle drivers. Nuno Dias has been collaborating on several post-graduate courses at ICVS/3Bs.
