Keywords: neuroimaging Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) functional MRI (fMRI) diffusion (dMRI) brain aging stress

Paulo Marques is currently a PhD student in the School of Health Sciences and doing his research at in the Neuroscience research domain at the Life and Health Sicences Research Institute (ICVS) and has Integrated Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering (2011).

He is mainly interested in the study of brain connectivity through multimodal neuroimaging techniques, specially in the context of cognition, aging and stress. Other areas of interest include task-related functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), analysis of structural and diffusion MRI data and automation of neuroimaging data-processing workflows.

Developing a neurofunctional intervention for emotion regulation under stress

Maintaining health in old age through homeostasis (Switchbox)

Neuro-Politics: the neural correlates of political decision-making: an fMRI-based approach

Obsessive-compulsive disorder: focus on stress and decision-making

Sleep, stress and cognition in a cohort of medical students: an fMRI approach
