Vanessa Sardinha graduated with a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2010, at the University of Minho. 

Vanessa Sardinha is currently a PhD student at the Health and Life Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), University of Minho. Her work project aims at disclosing the influence of gliotransmission in higher cognitive functions in a mouse model of astrocytic dysfunction.
