My main research interest is on the understanding of molecular mechanisms of parasites adaptation. I am particularly focused on the malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum and its survival mechanisms against drugs, immune system and host adaptation. For that I develop molecular tools to answer those questions. Presently I am developing and implementing Genome Editing tools like Crispr/Cas9.
