Keywords: Neudesin Anxiety Neurogenesis Neurosteroids Neurodevelopment

Ashley finished her PhD (2013) at ICVS untitled "Unraveling the biological role of neudesin, a novel neurotrophic factor" under the supervision of Professor João Carlos Sousa and Professor Fernanda Marques. Currently Ashley has a postdoctoral fellowship at the neuroscience research domain of ICVS, her research focus in understanding how extrinsic players modulate neurogenesis and affect the behavior of male and female animals.
