Nadine C Santos, PhD, currently holds a researcher position at the Association P5 Digital Medical Centre (CentroMedicina Digital P5, ACMP5), and was previously a post-doctoral researcher at the Clinical Academic Center-Braga (2CA-B) and a research assistant at theSchool of Medicine (EM), Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS),University of Minho (UMinho; Braga, Portugal) and ICVS/3B’s - PT Government Associate Laboratory(Braga/Guimarães, Portugal). The continued research goal of her ongoing work is to explore variables contributing to homeostasis and healthy brain ageing, as assessed by cognitive performance (potential, preservation and limits) and mood state. Multidisciplinary approaches (neuropsychological/ assessment and endocrine and metabolic physiology) are applied in a cross-sectional and longitudinal fashion in population-based cohorts. Is a member of the Life andHealth Sciences Ethics Committee of UMinho and an Assistant Professor in theHumanities area at the EM-UMinho. Has supervised 2 doctoral students who have completed their PhD degree and currently supervises 2 other doctoral students in ageing-related studies. Was a doctoral student at the School of MolecularBiosciences, Washington State University.
