The Science Outbreak Week is an annual event to promote awareness on the scientific research performed on the topics of infectious diseases and microbiology. This initiative is directed to the general public and will take place at ICVS, School of Health Sciences, UMinho, between 13-17th April. More than 300 primary and secondary schools students are enrolled to participate on guided tours to the research labs and to perform experimental activities specially prepared for them by the researchers.
