DESCRIPTION:Next Monday at 1 pm\, don’t miss Ana Mendes Frias “Sex-based differences of branched-chain amino acids supplementation in ulcerative colitis” at the A0.03 auditorium in UMinho’s School of Medicine. \nAna Mendes Frias holds a BSc in Biochemistry (2014) and a MSc in Clinical Analysis (2016) at the University of Coimbra. In 2017 she joined a pharmaceutical industry (Labialfarma\, Viseu)\, where she was part of the quality control team. Currently\, Ana is a PhD student at ICVS and her research focuses on the development of adjuvant therapeutic approaches to improve treatment strategies against ulcerative colitis.
