Investigator in Universidade do Minho and Centro Académico Hospital of Senhora da Oliveira in Guimarães and Medical Assistant at the Centro Hospitalar de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro EPE. Published 65 articles in peer-reviewed journals\, wrote two book chapters and was candidate to 11 awards. Reviewer in four scientifical journals. Thesis/project advisor of over 10 students\, in particular\, of School of Medicine in the University of Minho. Works in Health and Medical Science areas\, with emphasis in Clinical Medicine and\, more specifically\, as a Vascular Surgeon.

DESCRIPTION:Next Monday at 1 pm\, don’t miss José Lentilhas-Graça “Activated Macrophages and Spinal Cord Injury Repair: The Secretome Effect” at the A0.03 auditorium in UMinho’s School of Medicine. \nJosé Lentilhas-Graça completed the Integrated Masters in Veterinary Medicine in 2010 by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon. Currently\, José is a PhD student in the Inter-University Doctoral Programme in Ageing and Chronic Disease (PhDOC). His research field is Neuroimmunology\, studying the therapeutic role of Spleen Macrophages in Spinal Cord Injury and his PhD is carried out at ICVS.
