Rafael Azevedo holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology by University of Minho, where during his final project he studied the effect of new ruthenium compounds in colorectal cancer. He is currently a Master’s student in Molecular Genetics and is at Life and Health Sciences Institute (ICVS) developing his master thesis which is focused in better understanding the metabolic symbosis between bladder cancer cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts.
