ICVS Seminar “GreenLabs Initiative” and “Sustainability and Environmental Awareness”

Don’t miss “GreenLabs Initiative” (EN) by GreenLab working group and “Sustainability and Environmental Awareness” (PT) by Pedro Machado from Braval at the A0.03 auditorium in UMinho’s School of Medicine.

A dedicated group of researchers and staff have come together to launch a Green Lab Initiative, aiming to reduce environmental impact, minimize waste, and implement sustainable practices without compromising scientific innovation and raise awareness about the importance of eco-friendly research. Pedro Machado has a degree in Business Management from the University of Minho and has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Braval – Valorização e Tratamento de Resíduos Sólidos, S.A. since 2009. His professional curriculum includes multiple projects aligned with the promotion of sustainability and environmental awareness. He will introduce Braval Eco-Park and educate the ICVS community about waste separation.
