Belém Sampaio Marques is a Junior Researcher at ICVS and an Invited Assistant Professor at the University of Minho’s School of Medicine. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the University of Minho and specializes in aging and age-related diseases, particularly neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s. Her research focuses on Parkinson’s disease and the potential of mesenchymal stem cell (MSCs) secretome in neuroprotection and repair.
