The Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), R&D Unit of the School of Medicine of the University of Minho, announces the award of 1 (one) Staff Member position in a contract of uncertain duration to carry out the following functions:
• Provide technical and administrative support in processes related to the recruitment, hiring, renewal, extension, and termination of researchers, technical staff, administrative staff, and management personnel (PTAG) assigned to the ICVS, as well as research fellows.
• Support administrative procedures concerning attendance records, vacation scheduling and amendments, extraordinary access requests, ADSE matters, and other processes concerning ICVS members.
• Organize and keep up-to-date databases and physical/digital archives personnel records for researchers, technical staff, administrative and management personnel (PTAG) assigned to the ICVS, and research fellows, ensuring accurate documentation of recruitment procedures, maintaining records of hiring processes, contractual frameworks, start and end dates, types of contracts, and associated renewal/extension procedures, among other relevant professional information.
• Prepare listings of research teams in accordance with criteria established by regulatory and funding entities (FCT, DGEES, etc.).
• Compile, validate, and provide Human Resources data for the Activity Reports of the School of Medicine and its Research Institute (ICVS).
• Provide information and ensure high‑quality service to users, internal services, the School Presidency, and the Institute’s Directive Board through multiple communication channels (in person, email, the University’s internal platform, docUM, and other channels defined by the School Presidency/Institute Board).
• Contribute to the implementation of measures aimed at reducing bureaucracy, increasing efficiency, simplifying administrative processes, and enhancing the use of digital tools in administrative management.
