The ICVS Endoscopic lab comprises all needed equipment (latest instruments, devices and high definition imaging hardware) to perform endoscopic procedures, perfectly simulating an operating room. There are all the conditions to perform highly differentiated endoscopic procedures in vivo, using different anesthetized animal models, namely rabbits and pigs. The endoscopic lab can be used either for research purposes (new surgical techniques, testing and validation of new devices) or in the context of a training program in minimally invasive surgical techniques of different specialties (General Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology, Anesthesiology, Gastroenterology).
