April 30th at 13 pm, don’t miss Christian Lüscher’s “Individual reward preference in isogenic mouse populations” at the A0.03 auditorium in UMinho’s School of Medicine.

Christian Lüscher is a Full Professor and group leader at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Basic Neurosciences from Geneva University Neurocenter. His lab is interested in the cellular mechanisms that underlie drug reinforcement, dependence and addiction, particularly focusing on neuroadaptive changes and pathological synaptic plasticity at the mesolimbic dopamine system. Professor Lüscher has received many grants and awards recognizing his impressive contribution to his research field, namely two ERC Advanced grants and the Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation Award in Translational Neuroscience. He is also part of the Board of Reviewing Editors of the prestigious journal Science.
