Following his PhD in Molecular Medicine at the Avogadro University (Novara, Italy) and a PostDoc in Brussels at UCL, Paolo E. Porporato received a Rita Levi-Montalcini grant to return to Italy in 2016 and he is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Turin. His work spans cancer metabolism, and cancer’s systemic effects including muscle atrophy and cachexia.
