Miguel Ribeiro is a PhD student in the Applied Health Sciences program at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), School of Medicine – University of Minho, in collaboration with Stemmatters, SA. The goal of the PhD project is the development of xenogeneic-free, clinical grade human platelet lysate formulations for human cell expansion in the context of cell-based therapies.
