“I have a background in health sciences (bachelor’s by ISCSEM), biomedical sciences with molecular biology (master’s by UNL) and bioengineering (MIT-Portugal doctoral program) from Minho University. My career and scientific practice, in the last 10 years, have been dedicated in the infectious diseases and immunology field and I have worked in several research centers,
both nationally (IHMT and CNC) and internationally (Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic and Instituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Sicilia, Italy).
I have several scientific articles and some oral communications in international congresses.”
