Don’t miss Luísa Ferraz “Impact of modulating hippocampal dentate gyrus adult-born cells in the context of depression and Psilocybin treatment” at the A0.02 auditorium in UMinho’s School of Medicine.

Luísa finished her BSc degree in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences in 2022, with a license in Clinical Analysis and Public Health and also Pathology, Cytology, and Thanatology. In 2025 she finished her MSc in Health Sciences at the University of Minho, focusing her work on the contribution of DG adult-born cells for neurophysiology and behavioral domains impaired in depressive-like animal models, possibly helping to find alternative routes for the development of better therapies for Major Depressive Disorder.
