Flow Citometry
ICVS / Resources & Facilities
The flow cytometry facility provides researchers with equipment for acquisition and data analysis.
The facility, available 7 days/week, 24 hours/day, is equipped with:
- BD LSRII: 3 lasers (blue, red, and violet), 12 detectors;
- BD Calibur: 2 lasers (blue and red), 5 detectors (at the BSL3 facility);
- Muse Cell Analyser: 1 laser (green), 2 detectors.
Three FlowJo dongles are available to be used at researchers own computer.
An autoMacs Pro Separator is also available, which allows fully automated separation and recovery of cells of interest based on cells labelling with superparamagnetic particles and their retention in steel wool columns.
