Ana Lima graduated in Anatomy, Pathology, Cytology and Thanatology from the ESSP (Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto), in 2013. She has been a member of histology facility at the ICVS Services unit since 2013. In this context, nowadays while managing the Histology Facility, she provides support and consultancy in this field of knowledge to researchers working at ICVS. In fact, she provides general and specialized histology services applied to neurosciences, such as Methacrylate and Golgi Technique. Since 2014, it has taken an active role in the Occupational Safety, Health and Hygiene facility. For this purpose, she also provides support, consultancy and traning to students and researchers. She is also an internal security auditor and an external security auditor according to the normative reference OHSAS 18001:2007. In this sense, it has been carrying out audits and training in laboratory safety since 2015. Since 2016 she has been a trainer of Basic Life Support with Automatic External Defibrillation Course approved by the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM).
