Ana Lima graduated in Anatomy, Pathology, Cytology and Thanatology from ESSP (Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto), in 2013. She has been a member of the histology service of the ICVS Services unit since 2013. In this context, currently as manager of Histology Facility, she provides support and consultancy to ICVS researchers in general and specialized histology services, namely Methacrylate and Golgi Technique. She has specific training in Safety, Health, and Hygiene at Work. She is also an internal safety auditor and external safety auditor in accordance with the OHSAS 18001:2007 normative reference. In this sense, she has been carrying out audits and training in laboratory safety since 2015. Since 2023, she has been responsible for managing ICVS’s laboratory equipment.
