Ana T. Sousa

  • Stem cells
  • Spinal Cord injury
  • Biomechanisms
  • Regenerative Medicine

Teresa Sousa accomplished a BSc degree in Biochemistry (2022) where she had her first contact with the stem cells biology in the Parkinson’s disease field. Now, she is currently pursuing a MSc degree in Health Sciences, where she had the opportunity to collaborate in the project “Fabrication of microfluidic devices for isolation of leukemic cells from clinical samples” at INL. At this time, she is focusing her research in the biomechanisms of the ASCs secretome effect in a Spinal cord injury, having a master thesis titled “Multi-omics analysis of secretome effect in a spinal cord injury in an in vitro system”.
