Carla Sousa is a PhD student in ReNEU team at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), School of Medicine – University of Minho. She completed her master degree in Medicine in 2013 (School of Medicine – Universidade do Minho) and her Neurosurgery residence in 2022 (Hospital Garcia de Orta, Lisboa). During her scientific path she was involve in spinal cord injury surgeries ans specialization and her main phD focus is to explore a combinational approach for neuroprotection and neuroregeneration for SCI repair.
