Henrique Alves Gomes

I hold a degree in Applied Biology and have pursued further studies in the master’s program in Applied Biochemistry at the School of Sciences, University of Minho. Currently, I am actively involved in a research project at the ICVS under the supervision of Claudia Nobrega, which focuses on investigating the underlying mechanisms that contribute to the decreased blood counts of memory T cells in individuals recently diagnosed with relapsing-remitting Multiple Sclerosis.
I am at the second year of my masters, and my specific areas of interest revolve around immunology and the chemical aspects related to cellular reactions.
