His team interests include the impact of chronic pain in behavior, underlying central plasticity and predictive (endo)phenotypes of chronic pain susceptibility/resistance. His team integrates a MSCA-ITN HaPpY on the topic of chronic pain and comorbid depression. He was awarded with the 2015 IASP early career grant.
