Tiago Pereira

I hold a degree in Applied Biology (2024) from the School of Sciences, University of Minho and have pursued further studies in the master’s program in Biomedicine at the School of Medicine, University of Minho. Currently, I am actively involved in a research project at the ICVS under the supervision of Claudia Nobrega and João Canto-Gomes, which focuses on investigating how the blood plasma environment affects T cell responses in the context of multiple sclerosis, with a specific focus on T cell senescence and exhaustion. As a second-year master’s student, my specific areas of interest are immunology, specifically exploring how the inflammatory environment influences cellular responses.
