Inês Margarida holds a B.Sc. in Genetics and Biotechnology from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD). She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biotechnology for Health Sciences at UTAD and is conducting her dissertation project at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), University of Minho. She is being supervised within the Translational Neurogenetics team by Dr. Marta Costa and Dr. Sara Duarte-Silva. The project focuses on evaluating a novel molecule as a potential therapy for tau-associated dementias using Caenorhabditis elegans and mouse models.
