The Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), R&D Unit of the School of Medicine of the University of Minho, announces the award of 1 (one) Warehouse - Staff Member position in a contract of uncertain duration

The Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), R&D Unit of the School of Medicine of the University of Minho, announces the award of 1 (one) Warehouse – Staff Member position in a contract of uncertain duration to carry out the following functions:

• Receive and process orders for goods requested by researchers from external suppliers, ensuring proper routing and follow-up.

• Distribution of supplies acquired through the procurement system to the EMED/ICVS community.

• Prepare and organize research and teaching laboratories to support ongoing activities.

• Ensure the maintenance and cleaning of dedicated and support rooms, including cell culture rooms, solution‑preparation rooms, among others.

• Prepare laboratories and equipment for the practical components of the EMED/ICVS international postgraduate program, including medical‑surgical courses such as laparoscopy.

• Perform washing and sterilization of materials, prepare of culture media and solutions, maintain laboratory instruments, and calibrate micropipettes.
