The Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), R&D Unit of the School of Medicine of the University of Minho, announces the award of 1 (one) Staff Member position in a contract of uncertain duration to carry out the following functions:
• Perform functions supporting the Institute’s scientific outreach, visual identity, and external promotion.
• Produce and adapt graphic materials for institutional publications, presentations, posters, brochures, reports, and other formats.
• Design graphic and audiovisual content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
• Produce and edit institutional videos, interviews, and coverage of scientific events.
• Support the development of science communication content in language accessible to non‑specialist audiences.
• Photograph and film seminars, conferences, visits, and other Institute activities, including the preparation of visual and multimedia summaries of events.
• Collaborate in the planning and implementation of promotional campaigns, including the dissemination of results, projects, and publications.
• Manage and maintain the Institute’s visual archive (photography and video).

If the degree was awarded by a foreign higher education institution, proof of recognition of the degree by a Portuguese higher education institution is mandatory by the application deadline, in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of August 16 (with the exception of situations falling under the provisions of article 25 of the aforementioned legal diploma).
