Ana is graduated in Applied Biology (2021) from University of Minho School of Science and holds a Master degree in Biotechnology (2023) from the same University’s School of Engineering. During her BSc she joined Dr. Patrícia Maciel group where she focused on Ataxin-3 characterization in the context of Machado-Joseph Disease. During her master’s degree, she joined the C2B team where she developed her master thesis titled “Impact of hippocampal astrocytes in neurophysiology and behavior of rodents” under supervision of Dr. Luísa Pinto. Currently, Ana is working on the Dr. Luísa Pinto ‘s Spinoff Behavioral and Molecular Lab – Bn’ML.
