Ana Rita Oliveira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Sciences at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS) at the University of Minho, under the guidance of Egídio Torrado and Consuelo Micheli. Her project aims to evaluate the role of lipid droplets and lipid mediators in the response of alveolar macrophages to Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and their impact in resistance/susceptibility to tuberculosis.
