Estevão Lima has 53 years old, married and father of 3 children. Professor of Urology and Physiology at the School of Medicine – University of Minho, Braga – Portugal and Coordinator of Urology in CUF Hospitals, Portugal. He has an enormous surgical curriculum and extensive experience.
Estevao Lima is also a pioneer and an innovator, with international recognition in the application of minimally invasive surgical techniques and new technologies in the field of urology and surgery such as Natural Orifice Endoscopic Transluminal Surgery, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy, Robotics and recently, in surgical navigation and ureteral stenting. He has h index of 29. He received 23 research awards, many of them international. He is a member of several international scientific societies and reviewer of international journals. Estevao Lima has 8 patents. One of the patents was sold to the German company. He obtained funds and grants for research by more than 1 million euros.
