Joana Pinheiro is a PhD student in the Health Sciences doctoral program of School of Medicine, University of Minho, working on the project entitled “Unraveling the role of RKIP protein in the modulation of solid tumors microenvironment”. She has a degree in Biochemistry from University of Minho (2018), and a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from School of Medicine, University of Minho (2021), having developed a dissertation in ICVS about the role of RKIP protein in the modulation of lung cancer cell metabolism.
