Margarida Macedo graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Minho, School of Sciences, in 2023, and completed a Master’s degree in Health Sciences at the same institution. Her Master’s dissertation was developed at the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), entitled “Endogenous opioid signaling in the nucleus accumbens in motivated behaviors” under the supervision of Dr. Carina Cunha and Dr. Ana João Rodrigues.
