Patrícia Fontão is currently a PhD student of the Health Sciences doctoral program of School of Medicine, University of Minho, working on the project entitled “Role of RKIP protein in the modulation of immune checkpoint blockade in lung cancer”. She graduated in Biochemistry in 2018 and finished the Master’s degree in Applied Biochemistry, (field of Biomedicine) in 2021, with a dissertation about the predictive and therapeutic role of the Embryonic T-box transcription factor Brachyury in prostate and lung cancers.
