“Sarai Machado is PhD student in Health Sciences at Life and Health Sciences Research Institute, School of Medicine, University of Minho (Braga, Portugal), since 2021. MSc in Clinical Nutrition in 2020 (Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences, University of Porto, Portugal), for her thesis project she evaluated eating behaviour of children with failure to thrive, representing a unique opportunity to learn how to design and to implement a project, the hurdles, and challenges of research with potential impact in behaviour change. BSc in Nutritional Sciences in 2018 (Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences, University of Porto, Portugal). Performed her curricular internship of six months at São João University Hospital Centre, providing assistance to Endocrinology, Cardiology and Rheumatology Service, and her professional internship in the Maternal-Paediatric Centre, at the same Hospital, developing work on dietary and nutritional interventions on children with obesity, failure to thrive, endocrine disorders, inherited diseases of metabolism and other pathologies.
