Ana Catarina Ferreira graduated in Biology by the University of Aveiro in 2010, and obtained a MSc in Health Sciences by the University of Minho in 2012.
Currently, Catarina Ferreira is a PhD student in Health Sciences at the Neuroscience Research Domain of the Life and Health Sciences Research Institute (ICVS), University of Minho. Her PhD work focuses on the understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of adult neural plasticity in the healthy brain by an iron-related protein.
